Kei Financials: 10/18/24

Starting on my birthday, I will be doing biweekly financial updates. My financial goal for age 32 is to pay off $30,000 worth of debt.

My current adult bills are $1000 a month. I have $500 a check going to a separate account to pay for those bills.

I will be giving my self $500 every check to pay for groceries, luxury bills and things like that.

Everything else will go to debt. Stay tuned for the pay down!

The morning after

I find myself at a lost for words.

“You have to work twice as hard to get half as far.”

Policy vs policy - she was the candidate to pick

Person vs Person - she was the candidate to pick

OF COURSE he would win. A majority of the country is racist.

As much as I want to hope and believe that things are getting better as a whole, this election let me know that is not true.

At the end of the day:

“The most disrespected person in America is the Black Woman. The most unprotected person in America is the Black Woman. The most neglected person in America is the Black Woman.”

I am in way surprised by the outcome of the election. It is just sad to see that this is truly a reality.

Coming to work today was hard.

Little boop #470: acceptance

At one point I wanted to cut my hair and start over my locs. I was trying to fight it because I’ve made it this far. Then I remembered I have wanted them smaller since the beginning. Instead of staying in something, I have accepted the fact that I want something and I am going to do it.
